Second Floor Malts

The alcoves and tub chairs covered in black leather, the wooden floors and tables, and the brass lights and fittings of the Johnnie Walker Whisky Room have the distinctive atmosphere of an exclusive and cosy club – a club that knows all about whisky. We have over 65 whiskies on offer, including many unusual and sought-after single and blended malts, including 100-year-old Johnnie Walker whisky from the original batch, and the Johnnie Walker King George V, a rare whisky that comes in at £35 a shot. We think it’s £35 well spent.

Billiards

There are additional pleasures to the Whisky Room – the Billiards Room. Newcomers can enter the Billiards Room through its main door while old hands can use the secret entrance from the Whisky Room (for those who like to do a bit of sneaking around). Serious, and not-so-serious, players will find that the Billiards Room has much to offer in the way of diversion. Play billiards or darts throughout the day or sit and watch others battle it out while you settle into a comfortable leather armchair and survey the excellent view from the window, which is particularly spectacular by night.

Opening hours are 5pm-3am on Fridays and Saturdays. The Whisky Room is also available for private hire throughout the week.

Johnnie Walker Red Label, first sold in 1909, is the best-selling whisky in the world. You can find it in the Hawke & Hunter Whisky Room.
