Secret Garden
Hide out in the basement
The Secret Garden is a green jewel hidden away at the back of the Hawke & Hunter building snuggled under outdoor canopies. When you walk into the Secret Garden you could be forgiven for thinking that you are in Bali, or some other tropical paradise, thanks to the cane furniture, low-slung tables, candle-lit karma, and comfortable temperature – supplied by year-round outdoor heaters. We have regular B-B-Qs throughout the summer and you are free to smoke in the Secret Garden all year round.
Drinks in the Secret Garden are inspired by nature, with cocktails created along floral lines – Daffodil throws together Zubrowka vodka, Pallini Limoncello, Yellow Chartreuse, apple juice, fresh lemon juice and sugar syrup, and our Shrinking Violet is neatly composed of Belvedere vodka, Giffard Violette, lychee juice, fresh lemon juice, sugar syrup and Angostura bitters. More traditional drinks, such as Bloody Marys, Mint Juleps and a range of beers, are always available and our Punch Bowls cater for between four and six people and feature the ever-popular Pimm’s Cup, made with Pimm’s, fresh mint, fresh cucumber, fresh orange and fresh seasonal berries, with a choice of ginger ale or lemonade.
Opening hours: 5pm-1am, Fridays and Saturdays
